Dr. Mehmet Anıl Akbay

Dr.Mehmet Anıl Akbay, a researcher with a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA-CSIC), specializes in optimizing sustainable city logistics through advanced routing algorithms. His expertise spans the development of solution methodologies, including metaheuristic and hybrid metaheuristic algorithms, applied to sustainable logistics, vehicle routing challenges, and combinatorial optimization problems. Currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he focuses on AI-driven innovations to improve large-scale artistic events while teaching courses such as Introduction to AI and Problem Solving.
