Dr Selena Sheng is a Senior Research Fellow at the Energy Centre, University of Auckland Business School. She holds a PhD in Economics and specialises in applied econometrics, climate policy, and transport sustainability. Her research examines carbon pricing, the New Zealand Emission Trading Scheme, and low-emission transport systems using advanced data analysis and behavioural modelling. Dr Sheng has published widely in top-tier journals and collaborates across disciplines and sectors. In recognition of her contributions, she received the University of Auckland Business School Early Career Research Excellence Award in 2024.
